Meet Rocky!

Dear Human,

Hi, my name is Rocky. I am pitbull mix, whatever that is, and I am approaching my first birthday! I am extremely happy and friendly with all other humans and dogs. I especially love to play with my furry foster-sister, after which we lay down side-by-side and enjoy some quiet time. Whenever she gets some extra attention I know how to gently push her aside and insert myself into the action to get my fair share of the love.

I am very good at "sit" and "come". I just love people so much that sometimes I can't stop myself from jumping up to say hi, so right now I'm working on "stay" and "off", which is going really well! I am making great progress on my potty training, and I am also good about going into my crate. That is my quiet, relax-and-catch-up-on-sleep place. I'm a smart boy and with lots of consistency (and treats!), I'll be excited to learn all sorts of things with you.

I just love being in Minnesota. My human took me to his cabin this summer and I got to spend lots of time out-of-doors when we were there. I think you call that "puppy heaven". While there I learned that I am not much of a swimmer, and I like to sit in boats more than ride in them. My favorite place in the whole wide dog world, after being outside, is on my human's lap. Yes, I am a lap dog. I just love it when I am on a lap, maybe getting a belly rub or some other hands-on attention.

I hope you find a way to check me out, meet me, and maybe help me find a furever home.

Yours (hopefully),

Rocky
